Has anyone come across the skin care called glotherapeutics. They do mineral make up called giominerals. It sounds like a really good skin care line. I wonder if anyone knows anything about it. Thanks

hi
iv used the glo mineral makeup range, personally i found that it didnt have enough coverage and also the eyeshadows were quite chalky on some clients... however, the glo therapeutics facial range was really nice and very fresh! however, in the salon i worked at we didnt seem to get very far with this range for the facials...
its a lovely easy range to work with, but so far within the uk iv not come across many salons who use it. hope this helps... let me know if thers anything else xx

Thanks a lot for that. I tried a few samples and thought they were brill. It seems to be a great quality range. It is quite popular in the USA and Australia. It is just coming to Ireland. I'm looking to introduce make up in my salon, and just can't decide which mineral make up to go with. Which one do you use like the most?

We use glominerals in our medispa, mainly because they are pharmaceutical grade minerals of high quality. They are triple milled and do not contain any irritants (which a lot of minerals do despite claims to the contrary). Regarding coverage - there are pressed bases in addition to liquid bases as well as camaflouage (sp)! so should not really be a problem if applied using the correct base.

Glotherapeutics are a relatively new addition, so I do not have any experience of using the products. They are more a cosmeceutical range, so I would expect to be fairly good, although there is a lot of cosmeceuticals out there - jan marini, skinceuticals, theraderm (lifestyle aesthetics) to name a few.

Thank you. I ask them to send me a sample of their pressed base, and will try it. I will let you know how I get on.
