If you're not handy with a needle & thread or sewing machine, then this is a bargain.

Otherwise, to make even cheaper mitts, I bought some towelling tea towels, cut them to size & stitched the edges up. Each towel made 4 mitts. A pack of 5 towels cost me £4.75. Didn't take very long to do either.
