More importantly, have you done the train journey from London with your kit? Is it really tiring/difficult? Hard to carry everything on the tube, etc? What did you use to carry your kit in? Sorry for all the newbie questions, it takes me around 40 minutes to Paddington on 3 different tube lines. Sadly the London Educator is no longer running classes, I spent all of Monday looking up trains and figured Pamela is the easiest for me to get to on public transport. Where's that chauffeur when you need them? :wink2:

Just wondering out loud, do you think Brisa Lite will be added to complete at some point? Do you think in the future they'll switch to the LED lamps in the kit that comes with complete? I did ask S2 about Brisa Lite in regards to Complete, but the woman I spoke to had no idea, obviously it's still early days.

We're currently saving up half the money for Complete and I'll take the rest out my savings, as sadly my Mum has realised she's not in a position to give me a loan without incurring penalties. So I don't think I'll have the funding for the course until March at the earliest. Do you think I'd be able to order some literature from S2 whilst I'm saving? Or would I have to wait until I'm on the course and my educator can order them for me? What else can I do in the meantime whilst I am saving? I spent all of yesterday watching FingerNailFixer's videos and I've been reading the wonderful tutorials on here. Is there anything else I can do? Iv'e read Geeg's wonderful precision polishing tutorial and am practising my butt off.

I just want to say how grateful I am to have a partner who's willing to save with me and help me out with the cost. He's so supportive and has so much faith in me :) All of my family members (other than my Mum) were trying to advise me to do NVQ2 Beauty Therapy, but he totally understands that I want the best education and want to train with a highly respected brand and to specialise in nails. I just feel so lucky that he understands!

I really can't help you sorry, but was wondering a similar thing. Who's nearest to London? Or will there be a London ambassador soon? I'm wanting to do the l&p conversion course

I called S2 on Monday and was told no EA's in London atm and they couldn't tell me if there were any plans for the future either. I looked at Braintree, Sittingbourne, Oxford and Maidenhead. I went on National Rail's journey planner and worked out the routes for all of them. Maidenhead was by far the quickest, there's a station you can go to directly from Paddington that is less than half a mile away from the post code listed on S2. If you are planning on driving, pop on to AA route planner, do a search for each post code and see what is quickest/easiest. For public transport, Pamela is definitely the easiest for me to get to, obviously it depends where in London you actually are. I'm in Camden, so north central and thankfully there's good travel connections here. I'm just worried I'm going to turn up cream crackered from lugging my kit all the way across London!

All i know is 2 of my friends trained in l&p with cnd in maidenhead and they are amazing at what they do:)

I did my Shellac & minx training with Pamela. In fact I have just called her to discuss the Brisa Lite training & showcase dates etc! She is very talented & precise. You couldn't ask for a more educated trainer, she really knows her stuff. HTH :)

Exsactly !! The best is not always on your street corner! Sometimes you have to push that little bit harder to get the best.

Also when our colleagues tell you they do not know it is because we are finalizing things and they WONT tell you until everything has been finalized. Makes perfect sense to me. It doesnt mean there wont be a London representative or representatives in the very near future .. just theat they are not prepared to say just at this minute.

There are quite a few CND EA's around London, and anyone interested enough to get the bset, will travel and find them.

I went from Nottingham to London on the 5.50 train to do my gel conversion with the amazing Ketan! Worth every minute of the journey & every penny spent getting there x

Thanks Geeg, that's why I looked up every single CND Educator within the area, I don't want to compromise, even if it does mean travelling. Who knows, by the time I've got the money to hand, another closer EA might be starting courses!

In the meantime, any advice on carrying a kit on public transport? The tube can be a squished nightmare sometimes! Also, is there anything I could be doing now to help me, whilst I'm saving? Any literature I could purchase or things I should look at? I assume S2 wont sell me any books until I have an account.

I trained with Pamela and thought she was fab!! I drove there tho so I can't help with your journey, but I can recommend the roo beauty bag/trolley - it's fab and fits everything in! Also if you are training 2 days in a row Pamela will let you leave your stuff there to save you lugging them home just to lug them back the next morning. HTH x

Thanks so much for that! I'll def look into the Roo trolley's. People on the tube can be a nightmare, I don't want anything breaking due to some rude person kicking my stuff! Plus I'll probably be walking to and from the station with it.

That's brilliant to know, would definitely make life easier.

Yay I'm so excited! xx

I trained in Maidenhead with Pamela and she is great! She is so knowledgable and brilliant at what she does, I highly recommend training there.
I can't help you about public transport really but I do believe the train station is a very short walk away.

Thanks Katie! Always great to hear such wonderful feedback, I'm so excited to train with CND and Pamela!

According to National Rail the station is just under half a mile away, hopefully it'll be easy to find and I'll find something nice to protect my kit on the journey. xx

I am just waiting to hear back from the guys about training dates in Sittingbourne, starting to save but it is good to have a goal date! I am so hope I am going to be able to get my CND training this year!! :)

I did all my CND (L & P, shellac and minx) training with Liza at sittingbourne she is amazing and very knowledgeable. I also travel to her salon (1 hours drive from my house)to get my own nails shellac as I can't find one closer who does it right.
