Have you ever done something to as a trial and then though why didn't I think of doing this before?

Reason I ask is:
I have always been wearing l&p on my own nails, always. And I have always had problems with my left hand lifting, not much, but especially the left sidewalls. I have put in down to me not being able to press the bead, and lived with it.....
Then a good 3 weeks back I wanted to try out the opaque Brisa gels on myself, and no lifting.
It makes perfect sense as I don't have to press it! I just cannot understand why I didn't realise this befor now.

Are there anymore "thick" tech's out there or am I just stupid:lol:

i'm with you there, i always use gels on my own nails.
i find it far easier to get a good result with gel and have much less filing to do than if i were to use l/p.

on client, no problem. i can get the results with any system.
but on my own nails gel is far better.

Of course you are not thick Karen:lol:

You are a passionate get go person, and when you rediscover something,it may click,or your perception may change...for the positive.

I am eager at looking at custom blending myself...but i still love gels, and have mastered finally at leaving it thin in zone i and reinforcing the stress area and creating a good apex.

Sometimes it is hard i suppose to forget sbout L&P application as it is totally different to gel,and now i can appreciate why L&P technicians can have problems with gel application:)
