hi,

I had a lady in today for a pedicure and I have never seen nails like it so long think and bent , I could not clip with my nail klippers.

so had to file them down which took an hour! can any one help is there a product to make them softer to clip, or a larger nail clipper, or a product to stop them growing like this?

pedicures are not really my thing but bussines is slow at teh moment

try soaking her feet for a while before you start, this would soften the nails a little

Did you let the feet soak first, this softens up the nails,
you can get professional toe nail clippers from most suppliers, even from the chemist,
or you can just advise them to go to the chiropodist if you get a client that has nails that you don't feel confident to do hth

I work alongside a foot health practitioner and when i come across clients who have problems with their feet i book them in with her, she then deals with the feet first and once they are back to normal or lets say healthy again i then carry on with pedicures. Maybe its something you can look into. But like the other geeks have mentioned when they are quiet hard soaking them is the best way. thanks:)
