Hi everyone
Needs some advice asap, did a back wax on tuesday night and the guy has come out in loads of spots, he said he always gets spots afterwards but ive never seen anythink like this, ive been waxing for years now.
Now i dont mean i few spots, i mean loads all over his top half of his back?
now he'z adament he wants a spray tan tonight, is it safe to do so?or should i just say i cant do it while his back is like this?

Any advise please

make him sign a consent form stating you have advised him to wait , but he would rather go ahead.... if hes adamant he will only go somwhere else.. :(

Tell him to keep an eye on the spots in case they turn into Folliculitis when he should go on a course of anti-biotics.

I wouldn't spray tan him if the spots are open or weeping. Even if you get him to sign, you will still be liable as it was apparent at the time. xx

interesting xx i was told different lol xxx oops u will know better

Thank you for the replys i will check his back when he gets here and if im not happy with how it looks il tell him i wont do it.

I don't know better :), I was told this by a solicitor. It's different if their doc gives them a letter to say if it's ok, but if we go ahead and do something that we know could cause harm, then we're still liable, even if the client signs. xx

Yes, that's right. Any exemption form doesn't automatically exempt us from liability if we know that what we are doing could be harmful to our clients. We need to look after ourselves and be strong and say 'no' sometimes. :D
