Hi Everyone!
I have a customer who has a manicure once a fortnight, however, anything i do on her nails just comes off! When i say comes off that's exactly what i mean, for example if i paint them the whole varnish just lifts off, any nail art i do lasts about half a day if that, it's really strange!
I know it's not me because i do my own nails and lots of clients and it last for much longer..........
Have any of you come across nails like this and/or have any advise on how i can make things last on them? I use base coat/top coat/nsi nail glue (for rhinestones etc) She is one of my best clients so i'd like to come up with a solution if possible!
Thanks geeks xx

I have one lady like this and she cant wear anything on her nails, no gel or L&P either. It just slides right off.............. Its very strange but fascinating too!

Maybe she is like my lady?

thats anoying! i had a lady like this but we sorted it,
I'm sure you have tried it but could you really de-hydrate the nail plate and finger first with scrub fresh or something (at the end oil it back up lol ), and maybe even carefully remove the shine from the nail like you would if you wear prepping for enhancements? Supper sticky is a grate base coat also for problem clients like this,
Check with her; Is she on or been on some type of medication even some over counter things like vitamins ?
; and is she getting something on her hands maybe a hand or face cream, shampoo or cleaning product,
Dose polish stay on her toes? If it dose I think that would make it more likely to be something shes getting on or doing with her hands,

I know, it's so annoying! I haven't tried de hydrating the nail as i thought this might damage them slightly, she never has extensions on, maybe i could de hydrate them a bit and then oil them after! I'll try this, polish stays on her toes fine, just not her finger nails!

My nails are like this and I have 2 clients also, I always prep and then dehydrate, then add stickey base coat, I always find that polishes with a high glitter content last better on these clients.
Even minx doesnt stay on them apart from the toes.

You wont damage them by de-hydrating them hun, and at the end of the treatment put oil on, and you might find thats the answer:)
another thing you could try is getting her to put on a thin coat of top coat every 2 or 3 days at home that will help as long as she dosent put it on to thick,
