Help with gold/silver lightning minx

hi guys

can anybody give me some help with the lightning minx application? i always get that tin foily effect at edges :sad:.

i dont pull it too tight and wait until its cooled before filing!! i dont have a problem with any of the others just the lightning range!!

please can someone guide me before i cry :cry:!! lol

You could try trimming the bottom bit that is clear. we did this at Creative on my toes it was either that or use gold foil on other toes as there would have been no pattern at all on them

never had that problem in salon, make sure you file is washed thoroughly, glass files can get quite clogged up and can hence effect the end result of minx. Do you get it on every single toe/nail?

no just the big toes and thumbs mainly and maybe odd time on fingers if nails longer!! its only when i use the gold or silver though. the rest i have noproblems with!!

i know its sounds daft but its really getting me down i know it will take poractice but didnt know if there was a 'trick' to it . i'm not pulling the minx too tight and my file is cleaned after every set.

i am finding that i am trying to talk peope out of those particular ones so i dont have that problem but they are the ones i want people to wear!! lol

I know what you mean,,,,, What I find is leaving it a minute to cool down before you file it and also is I use a new file on every client and then use the minx file.
