hi all
i have a client with extremely oily skin she has tried gels and they only lasted 7-10 days so i thought give the acrylic a go on her and she has been in touch this morning saying the inevitable has happened ......she is so patronising to me anyway she said she thought i was doing so well but obviously not as they have come off!!!!!:(
Well she said this morning that only the thumbs have come off. I expalined to her on the first consultation that she might not get as long out of them as her skin is oily and she does a lot of manual work too i also explained everyone is different. I always thoroughly dehydrate her nails anyway before applying any product and i thought as the 7 day mark had passed it must be ok this time but then she got in touch this morning!!!
Is there any other advice anyone can give me on oily nails as i feel i am out of answers now and i want to have as much info to throw at her when she comes back as i am sick of feeling patronised by her :irked:

Yes, tell her you will remove her nails as she obviously does not get on with them. Either .....

1. she'll let you and you won't have to be patronized again or
2. or she won't let you because she knows that the fault is hers (2 nails off or broken is not indicative of an oily nail problem but of trauma done by her good self).. and it might make her pipe down in future.
