Ive been running a home salon for a few months and have a website but at the start friends said dont advertise the full address in case people start turning up at your door! I am getting busy and a lot of time is spent emailing directions to my home salon (its in a new estate so not on sat nav) - to save time should i start being specific with directions and placing them on my website i.e do you think im being over cautious!

im the same.. xx i only put the post code and town etc... i leave the number out:D

Hi I dont have my full address on website either, just town and postcode, dont feel comfortable people knowing my full address until I have spoken to them to book their appointment.

i am the same just postcode and road name, also due to insurance reasons aswell for the house/business they do not allow it so also worth checking with them

I have the full address, and detailed directions.
It still doesn't stop them getting lost though

I too put my full address - but then in a small Island they could always find out where I am from my name anyway so wouldn't realy make much of a difference here :D

No I dont include the full address on my website or my advertising.

It is listed on my business card tho I dont really use those for advertising to the masses.

Just town I'm based in for me. Not a very big town so would only take five minute drive from one end to the other but if was larger town would probably put road and postcode so people would have an idea of which part I was in if that makes sense! Also for me on things like the free websites etc the maps do actually show the road but no number is mentioned.
