I am not a professional in anyway, but I did do an level 1 in Beauty Therapy, which I loved doing!

I love everything beauty and makeup but I have some questions I would like to ask you professional ladies please.

1. I am 26 years old and I have quite bad hooded eyelid that goes to my top lashes! Is there anything out there that I can use to help to tone the skin around the top lid? At the moment I am using an eye cream mostly by ROC and Solutions by Hive.

2. I use mascara everyday and I am worried about my eyelashes being unconditioned and breaking. Can you recommend a product that I can apply at night to help condition and strengthen them?

Thank you :)

C-quence eye gel from environ is the best for this kind of problem. I have client who is using it for two weeks only and already can see an improvement.

Thanks for that, do you have a link where I can purchase it?

You need to find a nearest salon which does environ. Do not buy it on the net, it is not genuine.

Make sure you are tapping on the eye cream around the bone of the eye-socket rather than rubbing it into the lid so not to stretch the lids further. If you have this condition quite badly and it is genetic then the cream may not help and the only solution would be a bletheroplasty (eye lid surgery), but definitely try the cream first. :)

Thanks I will see if I can find a salon who stocks it.

Weezie I never rub my eyes anyway I always dab :)

Hi there you could try having your eyelashes tinted if you are worried about using mascara and using a lash conditioner. Regarding the hooded appearance if it is hereditary then I would consider eye lid surgery.

Another option is to gently steam the eye area over a cup of water - it assists the drainage and can reduce any puffy appearance. My sister had this problem and developed a few cysts and the Consultant gave her this advice. She eventually had the surgery and all was fine.

However to start with I would consider CACI eye treatments as this wil help lift surrounding muscles, drain and re-oxygenate the area.

I was thinking about buying Gatineau DefiLIFT 3D Eye Contour Lift Cream with Botufix, I have that will help my hooded eye?

I have also heard putting olive oil on your lashes before bed to help condition them?

The microcurrent machine might help, if you go for it, let us know how it improved it. I never worked with those machine, so it's interesting to know if they really work.
Can't comment on olive oil, it's good for very dry skin thou.

I use the CACI Ultra in my clinic & have had good results with eyes. It definitely does work (although you need to be realistic about final results - it's not an equivalent of surgery, rather the next best thing), and I have had some success with treating 2 clients with Bell's palsy, which is what the machine was originally developed for.

I have been using this product , the website is www.spabeautyathome.com message me for more details

It looks expensive and painful. Can you use it on the upper eye area?

I have now bought Gatineau DefiLIFT 3D Eye Contour Lift Cream with Botufix as I have been recommended this twice now I should be getting it any day now. When I have used it for a bit I will let you know my results.

I would like to try Environ but they seem a little pricey for me.

You do realise a cream is only going to have limited success on what is going to be a problem involving both loss of skin tone & muscular tone? You should also look at some sort of microcurrent treatment or similar to address the muscular issue as well.

I'm correcting this only because if the OP asks about it at her GP she has the correct name for it: Blepharoplasty.

Surgery for me is a little drastic, at the moment I would rather try the cream and see how they goes or live with it. I cant do surgery.

I appreciate all your suggestions

Thank you :)

Thanks I should have checked the spelling! Naughty me! It would have sounded the same phonetically though!
