Hi

Please help I have done my training and was just wondering if anyone could advise on the best place for hot basalt stones and cold marble stones. I did my training and they gave us their own website but they are far to expensive for me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as i just want to get started as I have quite a few clients that have been asking when I am going to start to do it.
Thanks

Kirsty

I got mine from Ellisons, and I know that they had a sale on recently.
I don't use marble stones but marine stones.

Salonserve.com (no connection) have some in their leaflet at the mo x

I also bought mine through Ellisons & have the marine stones, although I rarely use the marine stones! I have a couple here at home to cool my face on hot summer's days...when we get them!

The only one's I'm not keen on are those sets that are shaped like bars of soap, all being uniform in shape. I like the more 'natural' shaped stones.

Hi Kirsty
Where did you do you training?
How long was the course?
Would you recommend that company?
How much did the course cost?
Do you now feel competant in hot stone massage?

Really sorry for all the questions but am really interested in training in this.

Hi Emma

Did my training at dermalogica and it was a two day course, with a women called jane scrivner who training with the lady who first brought it over here. It was well worth the money. I think it was ninety five pounds each day. You don't have to be dermalogica traing to do the course. I do fill confident to carry out treatments.

Hopes this helps

Kirsty
