What is the best temperature for hot wax?
My husband has just bought me an infrared thermometer! You just hover it over the wax and it tells the temperature. How cool is that? It doesn't even touch the wax so you don't even need to clean it.
The thermometer is acurate to within 1-2 degrees.
Do different waxes need different temperatures? Is it about 37 degrees or more?

Sounds cool!! :)
Best thing is to check with the manufacturer/supplier of the wax you use as I'm sure that they will all vary slightly.

If I were you Angelina, I would heat the wax to the temp that you like to work at and feels fine on your skin, then take the temp and set it accordingly.

Where did you get the thermometer from? Sounds great. xxx

Hubby got it from Maplins for about a tenner. It will do me until someone brings out a digital double 1000cc wax pot
My typing went italic halfway through-how did that happen?!

The double heater that I'll have has two 1000 cc heaters but isn't digital. The single 1000 is digital though. xxx

They are not out yet. should be in the next week or so.
