Good evening my lovely skin geeks,i hope you are all good x
As my title says how do you become a facialist. I'm a fully qualified beauty therapist & make up artist, but I'm loving my facials more than anything.Whereas i don't want to stop doing my other treatments,i would love to specialise in facials. How do you? Do you have to offer many different companies,i use kaeso for my facials and crystal clear for microdermabrasion,do you need extra training, do you advertise yourself as a skin specialist? Any help would be gratefully received thanks loads Natalie x

Hi Natso i am the same as you i love skincare, it depends how deep into skincare you would like to go i have went down the laser skinpeel & microdermabrasion route and i love it because the results are amazing, and now that i have went into business on my own i am in the process of investing in a good cosmeceutical brand xx

I specialise in skincare. I took on Environ over 2 years ago, and with their products and training and support, I feel I can confidently tackle most skin conditions. Having a passion is half of it - although I found the Environ training so good I have done it twice, I also read a lot including about vitamins and supplements and the benefits of good make up. Our retail sales for all 3 are excellent!
I'm sure there are further courses you can do if you want to, but I believe the first port of call is a skincare range you truly believe in!

Thank you guys,very helpful x x

I specialise in skin too. I'm a registered general nurse by profession and I also trained in operating theatre nursing.
I have studied skin anatomy and physiology for nearly 30 years, and I continue to learn about the effect of products, diet and lifestyle on skin every single day.
I subscribe to many scientific journals to learn more, and I don't jump on airy fairy hippy bandwagons when there is little or no peer reviewed evidence to back it up.
That's how I became a facialist!
