How long for Fake Bake delivery?!

Hi,

I did my Fake Bake training a few weeks ago and ordered my equipment last week, they did contact me to say they tried to take the payment but were unable to, i'd not transfered the money into my account that day so i asked them to take it out the next day, so they did.....but they have not contacted me to say my order has been dispatched or anything....

I'm the most impatient person in the world, i just want my stuff here NOW!

Has anyone had dealings with FB? Do you know roughly how long it will take for delivery?

my FB rep came out today and told me that it takes 4 - 5 days for delivery.

Sometimes it can be next day/2 days - depending on what time of the day you order.

At the moment though they are running a little behind, mainly due to the fact they are in the middle of a rebranding exersise, have recently installed new systems and have many new team members.

They are a great bunch though, with great products - so when you do get your delivery you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the info hun, you'd think that after having had 2 children, a husband and being on this lovely planet for nearly 30 years i'd have learned a little patience, but alas no, i'm like a child at Christmas! I'm so excited about getting my tan equipment and have so many tans already booked!

Good on you girl, fantastic to have so much enthusiam... i usually buy fake bake, i think it does take up to 5 working days, you just have to be a wee bit patience gal!!! I, like you, have no patience whatsover, i act like a spoilt child!! When i want something, I WANT IT NOW!!!!!.. let us know once you have recieve it so you can share your news!! good luck in your forthcoming venture... mwah mwah and hugs:lol:

My equipment arrived last night, i was actually out when it was delivered (typical!) so they left it with a neighbour. :irked:

I LOVE IT! Argh i just want my husband to stop being a baby and let me tan him! I want to test it out on him before i do it on people that might fall out with me if i make a mess of it . I think i should be ok, i have a steady hand, i'm artistic, have an eye for detail and am VERY much a perfectionist! The one i did during training was ok, i was the 1st one to do it in our group but i watched everyone else doing it after me so listened a lot to what the fake bake girl was saying if someone was doing something wrong. I should be ok....

:lol: my husband just sprayed me, just my top half because my legs need a wax before they get tanned...and i was too impatient! He did a, erm.....good job, didn't follow the sequence i was shown by Fake bake because he missed a few areas and had to go over again, in his own way...

I may not be leaving the house tomorrow!

I actually ordered one normal bottle of tan and another of the 30% stronger but they sent me 2 normal strength by mistake....its actually very dark on....i know it'll look lighter after a shower in the morning but hell....i'm brown!

Get on the phone and tell them to send you a darker solution!!

I think its great you trust your husband to spray you, he hasnt had any training!!!

It always look dark at first spray, once you have a shower it should leave you very naturally looking, with a golden glow or something?

I noticed with my clients, i use the darker solution more than the lighter solution!! and they keep saying "SPRAY ME, SPRAY ME, I WANT TO LOOK BLACK, I WANT TO BE DARKER LIKE YOU, TOLA!!"

I was scared at first but eventually i realised that is what they want and they love looking like me lol!!!:lol:

Hi tola,

I'm looking better today! my tan is a little uneven but thats because my husband did it! you asked how can i trust him? well i was nervous but he, as my personal spray tan applier, needs to learn somewhere!

I'm not sure now if Fake Bake did make a mistake with delivery....i noticed at college today that the bottles of tan are in identical tubs, the darker one just has a sticker on it saying *darker* so maybe one of mine is the dark one without the sticker..I'll have to give them a call on monday....

how long does the solution last once its been opened? I think i might open the other one and test it out on my husbands legs to see if it looks lighter....

Just wondered if you had actually received your order yet from Fake Bake. I placed my order 7 weeks ago, and MOST of it arrived a few days later.... Unfortunatly I STILL haven't received my extractor fan, and get fobbed off everytime I call their customer services!!! I getting rather cheesed off now.. So just wondered what your experience has been??

I was just wondering how much the solution costs and are you mobile or do you have a salon? I have made enquiries with fake bake this evening but i'm like you impatient.
