hi geeks,

can you please tell me how long a soak takes you?

i'm using asp and i'm now almost 100% confident with my nails. one of ladies asked me to pop round and do a full soak off and new set last night. she's had her nails on for 3 week. i scratched them right down and did the cotton wool, tin foil soak but it still took me almost an hour. am i doing the right thing or is there a quicker way?

also, she comented that two of her nails were tender in the middle. there was no redness and this area hadn't been touched by glue. an ideas what this could be?

thanks :lick:

I allow an extra 30 minutes with a new set. I book out 1 hr if its just a soak off. It takes me 30 minutes to soak off and 15 minutes for a tidy up of thier nails (quick cuticle work, re shape and an oil buff)

If its a full set soak off i use the 2 bowl method, one filled with warm water. I only use the foil method if doing the odd nail during rebalancing. HTH x
