can you please give me your opinions on how you expect a beauty rep/trainer to dress
we always where smart/casual clothing when doing demos or training i wear trousers shoes and a shirt tie jacket myself and the girls wear whatever they want but always look smart and we are always Tanned in our 10s solution (even me and i look more like Vinny Jones than brad pit)
We are toying with the idea of a company uniform in black with the company logo in red on it maybe polo shirts and black trousers or tunics for the girls is it a good idea or would we look like Mc Spraytan (mc donalds style) That was what Sue the accounts Lady thought
I just want a general opinion please:hug:

I don't think i've ever seen a rep or trainer in a uniform. They are always smartly dressed and to be honest i've not paid that much attention!
It's never made me think 'oh they're not very professional cos they aren't wearing a uniform'.
I think polo shirts would be too casual. Oh i don't know actually.
Trying to picture it in my head, i would say it was too casual.
Great help aren't i? lol

Hi,
In my opinion a rep and trainer should dress differently, I'm guessing it is covered by 1 person tho! Would it be possible to dress smart for rep appointments and wear salon uniform for training days? I would expect a trainer to be wearing tunic or something similar as I think it looks much more professional not just for the girls tho! I'm not sure on the polo shirt thing tho....bit naff me thinks. :)

when we go top a potential new customer who does n`t offer spray tanning in there salon we actually get the kit out erect the tent and tan them its not always practical to be in a full business suit hence the uniform idea thats why i am asking your opinions

I wear black to train. It's not a salon uniform, just black tops and black trousers. I really don't like the Polo shirts you mentioned.

It all depends on when and where really. The smartest people I have ever seen were the Creative team when they used to have a stand at the shows. God.....let alone the girls......the guys looked fantastic too. so smart and sexy. They stood out.

I think a company image is great if there's a team of you. On occasions when you're all together at say a trade show, maybe you could all wear black and the girls all wear the same colour neck scarf and the guys a tie made out of the same fabric. It's all part of the branding.

Individual training, they could all just wear their black. xxx

Hi,
It sounds like the problem is mostly with the guys, could you wear a black suit with a 'smart/trendy' t shirt, which could be branded, under the jacket which you remove and replace with a tunic for the treatment? This could work well for the girlies to! They could wear on trend skirts, trousers, boots, shoes also! Yep brilliant idea! introduce a shoe budget! when can I start! lol!....Well maybe not! but would keep you all on trend and branded.

I have no idea what your colours are but Black, Pink and Silver is what I would have...or mybe Turquise...Good Luck..put a pic on when you decide:)

I wear just black. Really boring but can't find anything I like. Hate looking suited up as its too formal. I don't like being too casual and I have worn uniforms but again felt like a beautician not a rep/trainer.

I suppose if you look smart and are comfortable enough in them to do a demo I don't think people mind what you wear providing you look tidy, clean, and not in jeans or a trackie!
