Hey guys I glued in some hair extentions to my hair I have them all the time and just wait for them to loosen up and fall out or I coat the track in oil. Does anyone know of any way to remove them safely and quickly without damaging my hair?

Depending upon what system and glue you have used there is usually a product to remove them with... If the bonds are now grown out and are not near the scalp Acetone will desolve the bond but make sure you wear gloves and do not get it on your scalp as it may cause irritation, get a friend to help its easier. i heard that alcohol also works

Im no hair professional but olive oil works a treat.

My advise would be to have them professionally removed at a salon.

I would second this advice too ,
as you risk damaging your hair by removing them yourself ,
treat yourself and go to reputable hairdresser,

or you could ring up your local college ,
this will be a lot cheaper for you,
and this will be helping the students out too,

the students are well supervised by the teachers ,
they will be looking for all different types of hair treatments
including colouring too ,

Give them a ring first to see if they remove extensions , good luck

If you do not want to go to a salon, sally does sell a product for removing gel bonds. It is a oil based product so will not harm the hair in any way. If you have had a full head it will take about an hour though. Put the product on each bond and gently slide out.

Do not use acetone or alcohol both these products will damage your hair.

thanks for all your help guys

You are very welcome ,
I hope everything goes ok for you  x
