Humectant

I have dry frizzy straight hair. I have been told the best shampoo will be one containing humectant.

Can anyone tell me which shampoos contain this property.

Humectants are chemicals which attract and absorb water out of the atmosphere, thus keeping the hair moist.

Common humectants are glycerine, propylene glycol, etc.

honey is a great sourse of humectant. . . tigi catwalk do a shampoo that contains honey and oatmeal. . . the conditioner can be used daily and also as an intnesive mask. . it is great stuff. . .x

Try "Be Curly" by Aveda. Used to be called "Pure-Fume Brilliant". Is designed for afro hair but is amazing on caucasian and has massive amounts of humectants. Will smooth and de-frizz. If you want to KEEP it straight try "Hang Straight" - Same company.
