Hi, does anybody know anything about this spray tan machine...
Spray Tanning Equipment - Sun System 5 - Fake Tan, Spray Tanning Equipment, Self Tan, Self Tanning, UK, Strictly Faces, Sun Laboratories

i originally ordered a piglet from Vani-t but they are being absolutely rubbish and after 2 weeks of them telling me it'll be here tomorrow and 2 weeks of not being able to offer a tan sevice to my clients i have come across this at my local aston and fincher...

what do you think??

thanks geeks x x x

to be honest I have used it once and seemed ok ...but took it back once I found out that also is being sold in diy stores much much cheaper as a paint sprayer, although with a different nozzle .......I just did not want to spray anyone with my machine and them telling me they had the same one in the shed. I had a nightmare at first choicing a machine I'm too fussy .....hth x

You would be far better advised to go out and buy a proper spray tan machine..designed and built for spray tan applications.

HTH

You'll find the majority of spray tan machines also have secret 2nd lives. The most important things you need to ascertain is the reliability of the motor and the gun.

You need to ensure the gun is designed for the sole use of spray tanning and there viscosity - which is far different from paints.

The gun needs to apply the solution finely and should also be stainless steele not brass which most spray tan guns are.

Most companies can ship a machine to you next day and the best machine/gun at the moment is the HV5008 Maximist.

yes i have had a solution customer of ours who bought one she wishes she bought a hvlp 5008 because they were designed for the spray tan market and are not a modified paint sprayer this machine hasnt got an adjustable spray head i modified one of our 5008 guns to fit the hose on there machine to save her the cost of buying a new system honestly its a no no :irked: and the 5008 is 30 quid cheaper and avoid the piglet if you want to do more than 2 tans in a run they have very poor quality motors and the cooling system is pants lol

Hate to contradict you Steve, but ..... I've been using a Pig (from Fake Bake) for over a year now and it's fabulous, has never conked out and it can happily whizz through several clients in a row without needing any more than the natural in-between-clients rest.:)

I think it would be fair to say that we all have our favorites and if this little machine is doing a good job for you then ..well good for you
