I have had a lot of my 18 year olds friends tell me how nice my nails always look and how they wish that their nails would grow and look nice then when I thank them and then tell them that I do them myself I get some very strange looks and my nails looked at very close. The next words they say are your nails are not real I thought they were real:lol:.
I just had to share.

Unfortunately, so many do the 'fake' looking porn star nails that many think that is how they should look!!!
Well not in my opinion.
Time we had a return to natural instead of this glaring fake look that for some daft reason has been made popular because the so called celebrities have been brainwashed into thinking this is the THING to have. Attention seekers. They want people to know they have their nails done!!
My clients never wanted anyone to know they had their nails done.

Funny, was with a client today, discussing this same issue. She has recently started having custom blend with me, after 4 years of having her P&W.

Basically, in her eyes the French P&W look was her idea of a natural looking nail......mmm. Not anymore!

But now there is no going back!

Thanks for your replies and words of encouragement ,I do not have a camera to take any photos.
As for the porn star look nails I really can't say that I like them, where I live here in the US they are very popular. I like having my nails noticed but not if they look like the are fake .

That is because it is all people see ... they are not given the choice 9 times out of ten.

That is so true, I hear a lot "that if I paid to have them do then I want them to look like they have been done not something that I grew". I am one of these people no matter what I try my nails are still very thin , brittle ,ans flakey, so the only way I can have nice looking nails is to enhance them myself.
