I'm thinking of getting a Flabelos machine in the salon. I know they are popular at the minute, but are they as good as everyone says?? Has anyone used them and what did you think of it? Also how noisy are they when they're running? Any other comments or advice gratefully recieved!! :D Thank you!!

Hi, I looked into getting this machine into my room in the salon as people raved about it and the 2 other salons in the area (rotherham town centre) that had it were always fully booked.
I rang up for advice and was told the hire was min 12 mths and not cheap per month either!
Only a month later and the other salons are struggling to get clients for it so I am really glad I waited.
Unless you have lots of interest in your area personally I wouldn't commit to such an outlay hth

Hmmm! Thanks guys! Bit more research needed I think! ;)

There is one in the salon I rent space in, very popular and I've used it myself.
I think it would be a bit noisey if it was used in an upstairs treatment room? HTH!

These things are such a fad. Weight loss is only really achieved by doing two things: 1) Monitoring your diet and calorific intake and 2) Regular exercise.

Standing on some vibrating board doesn't make you thin.

They can help tone muscles and are very useful in some circumstances, but usually only really for high performance athletes.

Also if someone wanted to do some exercises to loose weight in Jan where would be the first place to look? The local gym or your local beauty salon?

To my mind these are about as useful and effective as those electric coil foot baths.
