What w lamp does ibd gel take, is it 9w?

I think IBD uses a 6watt but I am not 100% sure. Now days 9watt is what most systems work with. 6watt lamps will only cure 6watt gels, even if you leave the nail in longer it will never cure a 9watt gel correctly. Now with that being said a 9 watt lamp will cure a 6watt gel with ease. So if you are in the market for a new gel lamp I would suggest going with a 9watt.

Thanks guys, I have a 9w lamp already so it should work with most gels shouldn't it? Will it also work with brisa?

According to Creative you need to use their lamp. I however know alot of people that use any 9watt lamp and have no problems. Try using the lamp you have and if you have problems than maybe you should invest in their lamp.

Thanks izzidoll, I already have 2 lamps. I think I will wait till I start working again before purchasing another. Then I will do the creative conversion.
