Matrix has had this technology for the last five years, they increased there shine content ages ago and sheer pastels have been out for three years now, so this is not new technology at all. Nice to see wells catching up at last

That's lovely- what colour/s did you use?

That's lovely- what colour/s did you use?

Full head slices but miss a section between each slice, roots 9/60 then mid length and ends 10/36. 2nd foil 9/60 roots 10/ on mid length and ends. Keep alternating .

Then the roots 10/1 + 8/1 equal parts. Mid lengths and ends 10/ 4 parts and 10/1 1 part. On the slices which aren't in foils. Hope makes sense..

This is the instructions I used. Not sure if you can read it.

Wow! Worth the effort, looks beautiful.

Thanks. Glad I talked her into having it instead of basic highlights

Really looking forward to trying this. But as a freelance stylist Im going to have to wait a little longer. Just a thought does anyone know if/what wholesalers will be doing a workshop day on this new range? My local wholeaslers used to do the wella workshop days but no longer does, also is the rrp similar to KP ? many thanks geeks

I used 7/7 today and it came out really warm, like a7/37, was really disappointed to be honest!

But with the cooler colours I do find they are better than koleston and the 7/81 is a godsend to me x

I find that some colours do come out warmer, specially the naturals.

This colour is 5/35 with 7/35 slices. This clients hair has coarse hair, and this colour made her hair so silky.

Wow that is really warm. I thought that it was supposed to be generally cooler?

Id say for darker shades like that the violet base doesn't do much but for lighter shades it will :) x

It looks like the colours in the book
When matched up. But under some lights it looks warmer than others,. This picture is more Warner than in person. But yes I'm finding colours richer/Warmer.

Do you know they are some more shades coming out in the illumina .

The cooler colours are cool but there are warm shades in it too. There are new colours out soon can't get the stock in quick enough illumina is so popular clients are recognising the new technology

I've just been on a wella course and covered the illumina, being freelance I can't get it yet. Gutted,as from what I saw it looks great. So do the pics everyone's posting up on here :). I was told possibly end of November it becomes available to freelance. Hope so
