infills with gels

Hi all

Please can someone clarify exactly what needs to be done when doing an infill with gel (I use NSI). A couple of weeks ago I did myself a nail overlay (French), so no tips used. I now need to do the infills. Do I file all over (but not worry about removing everything) and apply a 'lock in layer' all over? Or do I just apply gel to the new area of nail showing around the cuticle. Likewise, if I had applied tips, I know I need to check the apex and the smile line etc but I'm confused as to again, whether the lock in layer gets applied all over the nail or just at the cuticle. Surely if applying all over, its not much different from doing a fresh set. Yet if I put it just on the new nail growth, I don't know if this would show up when finished.

why dont you phone nsi 0500 131 009 and get them to send you there dvd.this covers everything on it and would help you to understand it easier.
where and what was you taught when you did your course?xx
