I'm prob being a bit thick here but what is the difference between infills and rebalance? I was never taught that on my course. Also do most people charge for removals or do it as a complimentary treatment?

An Infill is replacing just the grown out product near the cuticle area (zone 3)
A rebalance is replacing the grown out product and also the smile line, ( when the enhancement has been on for a number of weeks, you will see the natural free edge underneath...your just covering this back up)

When performing a rebalance you would have to thin the enhancement out a lot more than you would during an infil, so when applying your new product over the top, the overall appearence isn't too thick.

I change half price for a removal when performed right before a new set,
Full price otherwise.

totally agree with emmsybabes.
an infill is just to replace zone 3 which is the growth of the new nail at the cutucle area.
and a rebalance is exactly what is says. this also includes replacing the product at zone 3 but also a new smile line if you have done pink and whites as the smile line would have also grown up and allowing us to see there nail underneath but you also need to repalance the nail i.e .. the apex and the structure of the nail of the nail as this would have all moved up the nail slightly which in effect makes the enhancements structure of the nail weak.hth:)
