Is a launch party a good idea if mobile?

hya, im just wondering if having a launch party for my home salon and mobile business a good idea? it would be at my local pub as my home salon would be to small. i was thinking it my draw in clients or am i barking up the wrong tree? i would do demostrations, have tester products on show. price lists ect. i would love to know if any one has done this or any more ideas to make the launch a success.

If you can have a private room at the pub then maybe but I know of several girls who have had problems doing events in pubs. It's not alway potential clients who try to get involved with what is going on.

It all depends on how much you will be spending on this. The money may be better spent on a good leaflet drop or a small room in a local hotel.

Is there any way you could have it at home? Not just in your salon but maybe some nibbles and drinks in your kitchen or dining room, even during the day this can work wonderfully. This way your future clients can look at your room, check out the parking etc? :green:
