and want to get an NVQ. Would i be better off going to college?

i did my nvq at Carlton. (i oly did it for the nvq) But the training is questionable as my tutor didn't do nails?? And as for the home-based nvq anyone can a write case study on imaginary clients using the right words, dates, and the required paperwork ie ski jump, wide nails etc. My advice is to go college where are properly accessed or go to on a 1-2-1 with a good products company eg creative, nsi etc
Good luck
Thanks glad i asked, nearly ended up going for Carlton. I'm going to try Creative and NSI insteadplaoh said:Is that the same one that's in Windsor? If so, then this is OMHO but NOOOOO:lol:
Joking aside, I did my very first course there. Waste of money. Do a search on here for the best options so you can weigh up the pro's and con's of college, NVQ. etc.

Apparently they rush through everything, so I dont think I'd want to go there.
Take your time and look for a decent course. Goodluck

I could have done a Creative L&P and Brisa Course with that money!!!!
Hun, you're much better off studying with companies that specialise in what ever treatments you're looking at doing

I had 2 different tuors who were expert and knew their stuff. Everyone worked hard on the course but one girl was offered to come back for some extra training if she wanted as she struggled a bit with some bits. The atmosphere was friendly and informative and I must say that they have been really supportive afterwards too with the home study part. I knew a little about acrylic b4 the course but learnt so much more.
Hope this helps!
