Hello, I've recently started working in a salon with a very high demand for nails. I've finally got the hang of gels now, however the thing I dread most is a basic file and polish!
I love using OPI and Essie but the salon uses Jessica. I understand apparently Jessica is different to any other polish but right now I cannot stand it. I can't seem to get a neat line around the cuticle because unlike the other brands I've used, when the brush fans out the bristles look jagged in my opinion. I can't get used to the thick consistency either, they seem unusable really quickly. Now I know I need Jessica training but my manager has booked in salon training TWICE and both times they failed to turn up.
I could use some advice in the meantime if anyone has any tips they can share? I would be really grateful.
