Hi all, Im a newbie lasher and have a question for the geeks. My friend gets her lashes done at a local salon. They look really straight and long but clumpy on the top like there has been too much glue applied i think?? Anyway I had mine done at my training course by a lashperfect trainer and she used C curls. My friend wants me to do hers as she wants hers more curly. I said she should ask the therapist for C curls first (not wanting to take away her business) and if she doesnt use them I would practice on her and do her infills but Im just thinking???
1. Maybe a B curl would be better as Im just starting out and i think she has straight lashes.
2. Should I remove the old lashes and just start again from scratch as Im just worried about the amount of glue that appears to be on her lashes at the moment.
3. Can I do infills with a different curl than previously applied.

Thanks in advance

placing c's in with js can look a little messy. The c's can look like they are sticking up iykwim. If it were me I would use infill with b's, then you can gradually achieve a b and c mix, which is gorgeous!

I would suggest removing the old lashes - as I cannot perform a perfect set when there are bulbs of glue and natural eyelashes stuck together. I always suggest clients remove their eyelashes with the therapist they have done them with - because first of all - your adhesive remover may not be as effective if it is different from the one she uses and also I do not enjoy removing someone's messy job.
Once she has them removed, do C's - Don't be afraid, you'll see there is nothing particularly difficult about them and the sooner you start the better you'll get. Good luck

Hi girls

Sorry to crash the post but thought it was relavant!

How to you get a good bond when putting C curls on straight lashes? I'm so scared of doing them and them falling out soon after that I have been steering away but love the look you get with a C curl. A few of my clients have naturally curly lashes so use the C curl on them and much prefer them to my clients with straight lashes who I would just a J on.

Thank you!!
x
