Hi all,

I am a mobile spray tanner and use the t200, love it apart from now n then tan will leak from around the black nozzle bit (where the needle is), and run down the front of the gun and down the solution pot, it stops pretty quick and doesn't happen all the time but is annoying and pretty embarrassing when at a clients house waiting to spray them. Does anyone know why this is?

Thank you! :) x

i have this problem too!!!! i have NO idea what causes it and like you it doesnt happen all the time and stops pretty quick but it is embarrassing ... i did think about returning mine as its still under warranty. xx

The best thing to do is to contact your supplier who may be able to help you out with these problems

this is a needle/nozzle sealing problem as the only place on the gun for the solution to come from is the needle
the needle should totally seal the nozzle apperture/hole if the needle is bent or blunt or the nozzle has solution residue or dha Chrystal s to stop the needle seat being totally air tight then a bead or drip of solution forms on the nozzle tip whilst the trigger is idle so it drips on to the spray head and down the black nut !!
If your machine is under warranty contact your supplier
If not i would be happy to help ive fixed a t100 today from someones earlier post !! saying how good i was at repairs
and (for the moderators) i do it for free just parts and pp HONESTLY!! so please dont tell me off again it takes me a few mins to unwind a motor and solder the stator or clean a gun and replace the needle and i get a lot of pleasure out of making things work again:hug:
its nice to be important but its more important to be nice:lol::lol::lol:

Morning all,

Thanks for your help. I will try taking it all apart and giving it a good clean, does the needle need to have a bit of oil put on after washing?
If this doesnt work I will contact my supplier or come back to you Steve.

Thank you! :)

ahhh! What a 'Very nice man, a very, very nice man!' pmsl

the way i clean the nozzle is to unscrew it competely and i use a very fine fishing line and thread it through the hole and just work it around back n to this will get rid of any chrystals that have stopped the needle seating properly i dont oil the needle myself if its all clean it will be fine without oil

Thanks Steve, do you just put the wire through where the needle would normally go?

yeh thats right firstlycheck the tip of your needle is coming through the nozzle with your finger nail then pull the trigger it should dissapear the ends break off regularly remove your needle by unscrewing the density dial to the max a spring comes with it then pull the trigger the needle will come out the back give it a good tug and it will come out have a really good look at the end of the needle if its bent or blunt or the tip is missing then you need a new needle unscrew the black collar remove the spray head and then unscrew the nozzle, the fishing line i use is 1lb breaking strain and is as fine as human hair thread it through and just work it back n 2 to clean the nozzle internally its not that easy to thread it through good luck

i have this too with mine...and had to visit the company that i bought it from to get sorted!! was really frustrated with them bacuase they blamed the fact i wasnt cleaning it!! Its usulayy because the nut needs tightening under the top of the gun (that holds the needle in place) I usually get pliers and tighten it and its stops for a while...until next time it happens!

Thanks Steve,

Right I will give it a go sounds complicated and hard work but I will try, and get my Brother to help too, what are they there for :)

Will also try what you said too Maz.

Thanks all for your help.
