I am getting lifting on the end of the tips/free edge when i do gel? Not sure why as im making sure i seal the ends? any advice?

Are you making sure you aren't then filing away the seal at the free edge? x

Are you making sure you etch the tip with a 180 grit file before you apply your base layer?

I'm not sure how long ago it was that you took a class and you say you have not done allot of nails but you seem to be having quite a few problems that seem pretty basic. Maybe book a 121 with your CND educator and iron them out in one afternoon?

Hi Yes I would say the same you may be filling the free edge I used to do that all the time lol :o)

Yes this is what i am doing i apply the base coat, then 2 coats depending, then the gloss, i was then filing to shape?

Do you think this is where i am going wrong.

With regards to problems I would just call them learning curves, I will maybe book a 121

I think where you are going wrong is you are not doing one or the other of the suggestions given to you above. And you haven't said if you are or not.

You say apply 2 coats ... I hope you are building a proper apex and not just painting the gel on like polish. That is not the way to use Brisa to enhance nails that are going to be long lasting (unless the client already has strong natural nails).

I do my base coat then my second and third building the apex as I go.

I think it was because I was filing them after I had finished. I will not do this from now on.

You can file them, just be careful you don't break through where you have capped the free edge, going back into the natural nail or the tip.
