Not everyone would agree, but I don't like the Hands Down personally. The Gauze pads are the ones I have used for 30 years and I never get lint and they o everything I WANT.
I love the idea of the plastic backed HD pads and I do think they are better perhaps for our own skin and to reduce exposure, but I have always been one to wash my hands frequently (between every client) and have never suffered even remotely from contact dermatitus. I had great training working in laboratory conditions for a few years so I have very good working habits with chemicals. :green:.

The plastic backed hands down pads are good for some things but not on their own for scrub freshing as they leave fine threads on the nail surface which is a real shame because they are lovely for getting into the lateral folds. Fuzzies are definitely the bane of a nail tech's life!! (along with teenage daughters in my case!!)
I use gel sponges they great
