This is a long shot but i dont suppose anyone is training with sienna x on monday at head office?
Im very very excited and a tad nervous.
What exactly should i take with me x

oooh i did my training with sienna on monday! :D i LOVED it! my certificate came through like the next day or the day after too which was great! there was a right mix of ladies there (spa owner in a 5 star hotel to a lady wanting to make some extra money for her wedding) and the trainer was oober doober lovely! customer service is fab fullstop though to be honest :D

as for the training day i received a letter through the post telling me the address of the venue and to bring just my spray gun as maintenance would be shown etc. and a sienna after care/before leaflet aswell as a sachet to exfoliate with as you will have a spray tan on the day (if you don't want to be tanned though like i didn't and another lady on the training then that's ok i was told and it's not a problem - just make sure you let your trainer know in advance so arrangements can be made).

everything else is provided - when i walked into the room there was a little bundle of goodies infront of each chair space on the table - including a pen and training manual (blank pages at the back if you want to write notes so you don't even need a notebook), some sachets for you to have, a couple of advertising cards, a pin badge, a chocolate and a few other little bits of info. because i wasn't sure where i was going i just walked in the room with nothing apart from my car keys and phone i left everything in my car incase i was at the wrong place and i was fine - i didn't even need my spray gun as we all had the same gun which the trainer had! :D my training was in an hotel and drinks were provided (hot drinks aswell as iced water and orange) aswell as biscuits and a light lunch of sandwiches.

i'm sure you will love it! i sprayed 2 of my friends yesterday and my partner is getting a tan today as he thinks by monday it will have all washed off... LOL :D

i had to go first for the practical as i had a model so it saved her waiting around and i sprayed her back then went right over her knickers down to her legs! lol! the amount of dabbing i did was unreal - we were all like that, some of us put too much barrier cream on feet so the sticky feet wouldn't work, some of us couldn't get the sticky feet off, some of us kept pointing the cold air from the gun in peoples faces when we was asking them to breathe/turn their heads so don't worry you will be in the same boat as everybody else! :)

Thankyou so much for this reply, it sounds great! I wasnt sure if i would need pens ect and didnt want to turn up looking like i had come for my first day at school.
LOL about your partner how nieve are our men :) i went on a waxing course on wed so mines getting waxed soon! then a nice tan on mon to top it off, thanks again x x

you could always give them a call just to check and ease your mind. on the morning i had my training i phoned up to ask if i needed anything as i'd lost the letter but remembered i needed my gun and my question was answered straight away.

my partner is a me are man give me meat kinda cave man so this whole femine man thing that's going on in the world right now is so not his thing at all! he told me he didn't want a tan this week because he didn't want to go into work looking like he'd been on holiday for 2 weeks over night so i could do it on the weekend. who am i to argue with a man who clearly knows so much? :p

i am so with you on the waxing! i have my training in august and my other half knows exactly what to expect when we get home! :D omg i can't wait to hear how you get on! you will so have to post about it! did you enjoy your waxing? are you mobile/salon based? x

Ha im exactly the same my hubby works in a prison so i imagine he may get a bit of stick, he has agreed to me waxing the bottom of his back but i have insisted that his brows could do with a clear up and if im really persuasive i might get to do his chest :)
Im about to go mobile, im really excited but on the other hand i have just spent a fair bit of cash and have no choice but to make it back, so i keep having waves of sickness thinking OH MY GOD what if im pants! Im even dreaming about it!
How about you salon/mobile? I know it will take a while to get really good and to build a client base but theres always the doubt what ifs

good luck with the persuading! lol :D my partner would swap with yours aaanyday i'm sure! he's get the whoooole package. no pun intended!!

good luck with your new venture also! are you just offering waxing and spray tanning?

i feel exactly the same way! i just wanted to do something for me, to give me some kind of identity other than 'mummy' and to give me some confidence but now i've spent all the money it's a bit like gosh i really need to make it even itself out. so long as i make the money i've spent out i'll be happy and anything extra is a bonus. it's not about earning extra money at all, but extra money is never a bad thing is it? lol

well i was hoping to go mobile (offering waxing, spray tanning and lashes) whilst studying nvq beauty at college and hairdressing part time (though i'd be willing to drop hairdressing if when i have my interview they think i am taking too much on which i prob am considering i have 2 little boys and a partner that works full time!) but after a few times of literally dragging everything with me i'm really starting to wonder if i've made a mistake! i have the extra light therapy 2000 bed and it's still so so heavy! i feel like i spend more time setting up and packing away than i do doing treatments on the friends i have practised on! it's such a hasle. doing a spray tan on 2 friends yesterday was a treat!!

i think if you are willing to work hard and put the effort in then anything is possible, but it sure is hard to get rid of them lil niggles of 'what if...' isn't it?
x
