Hi eveyone, have any of you heard or tried the gel system by "Magnetic"? I've just started working in a new salon thats opened and i'd never heard of magnetic before i've always worked with creative when i've been doing gel nails.
Anyway my boss had bought this starter kit of the magnetic gel and said i could have a play with it all and see what i thought, but i found after i applied the base gel ( i cured it for 2mins on my 36watt lamp) i started to apply my second coat of gel to find the base one hadn't cured!
So in the end i cured it twice so about 4mins in total, do any of you no the right curing time for the magnetic gel? I would rather use Creative which i'm used to but i feel a bit bad if shes gone out and bought all the magnetic products! What do you all think?

i think this is a popular gel in germany and around europe in general. maybe if you find magnetics site there would be more info on the cure time.
maybe you need a different lamp.
its always best to get some converion training when switching to a new brand but hopefully you can find some info on the site. we sometimes get a google link to it on here.

i've had a look on the site but it just tells you about the products it doesn't say anything about cure times or anything. Yea i think maybe it needs a stronger lamp, I dont think she'll want to send me on Magnetic training so i might be better just buying some Creative stuff and i'll just tell her i prefer to use that :)

Thanks 4 the website link, theres some useful info on there

just send an enquiry to the magnetic site for clarification on the cure times.
a 4 bulb lamp cures most gels as long as the bulbs are o.k

right i've sent a e-mail, lets see what they say! Thanks 4 ur help :)

Magnetic need 2 min curing time. The bubls in the lamp must be old? Magnetic is not so different to work with then Brisa, i have used both of them. Good luck :)

I use magnetic and it is a primer free gel system.
So you don,t apply a seperate bonder...only their primer in need of severe lifters.
I actually use scrubfresh to cleanse the nail prior to the gel and i never encounter any lifting.
The layers cure in 2 min and stay tackey untill you got to your desired shape and then you wipe the inhibition layer away and shape it, then you finish it of with your finish gel.
