Make up brands??

Hi

I recently completed my VTCT course in Cosmetic Make-up and Beauty Consultancy and I was wondering what sort of Make up brands are good ones to start out with?

During my course I used the kit that was used by the whole class but as the course and our confidence progressed we were allowed to use our own make up for assessments etc, I used Barry M for a few of my assessments as I absolutely love their colour range. I understand they are a high street brand and I have never seen or heard of a salon using this particular brand, although I am sure there are. I also used MAC, one of my personal favourites.
As I am relatively new to this and not 100% sure on it, I am also on quite a tight budget so I was wondering what brands you would recommend?

I would definitly reccommend i.d bare essentuals, i find it a brilliant range to work with, and good customer service too. The only thing it is quite costly to get an opening order.

Lily Lolo mineral make up range is fantastic! The eye colours are some of the most pigmented, true colours I have ever used. I was introduced to the range about 6 months ago and am a true convert. Have a look at their website xx.

Hiya, try Krush Minerals. The whole range is fab. They have 40 100% pigment eyeshadows, which I love, all in really vibrant colours.
