Morning geeks,

I currently use Estée Lauder loose powder and sometimes Laurier Mercier foundation powder, but quite frankly my bank balance can't sustain it anymore!!!!!

What other main stream brands do you knowledgeable ladies advise???

M&S Autograph does a lovely loose powder, comparable to MAC's prep and prime powder. They do coloured ones too though.

What sort of foundation finish do you like? Skin type etc?

Bourjois do some lovely foundations for about a tenner and they are made by the same company as chanel!

I never knew that about bourjois!!

I'm closer to 40 than 30 so my skin isn't so lovely and fresh anymore. :'( and I've always gone for a Matt look as Dewey makes me look like I'm oily!
