Hi all,
I have been a beauty therapist for 10 years and always hated (and i mean hated due to no confidence) doing make-up treatments so I do not have much of a kit just the essentials for the odd wedding however recently I did another make-up course and found that actually I am quite good at it and my confidence is now growing and I am looking at getting a great kit and offering more make-up packages - however where do i start?
I do not want to have a huge outlay as I am mobile but I do want good quality brands - I am just stuck with the basics and I know it sounds stupid as I have been doing this for a long time but what sort of rangeof foundations do you all use how many shades do you carry etc!
I know the basics like primer for which i quite like mac as it is illuminating and obviously the concealers are straightforward but with the foundations and eyeshadows how many will I actually need and can you buy a decent kit or is it best to get singular items from different brands?

Please help I am on a mission I just do not know where to begin without bankrupting my business!!!

Id really like to know the answer to this question too!

i had the artdeco rep come out to me last week and i was very impressed, i am now getting the minerals kit to start with and going to buy bits of everything else as i had no idea where to start, very interested in what others thing though.

I spoke to ArtDeco yesterday and if you give them a budget of whatever you want to spend they will put a make up kit together with products they feel you will gain best use from. I don't think that there is a minimum order with them either. You could try their range and then if you like it you could then maybe opt for one of their larger kits. I filled in for a information pack online and got loads of info through the post including a catalogue on a cd-rom :) I do have individual prices for their kits so if you want to know what they are pm me.

Hi there!

I sell Oriflame products to my clients, there is a great range of skin and body care along with some fab cosmetics. No need for parties or anything like that and you can leave brochures with your clients to collect orders for the next visit, deliver the last order at the same time.

The top end products in the range are ideal for salon use or make-overs, weddings etc and also for facials. My clients are delighted and purchase the products after facials.

I have both a mobile business and have a room at home and this is storming ahead giving me an extra income for no real effort! You can order online and you get invoiced for the order, payment due 14 days later so plenty of time to collect money etc. Also and most importantly, there is no start up fee or minimum order level so nice and cheap to start.

Please contact me if you want any further details, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Hi
I have been looking at make up for some time now. I had some samples sent and purchased samples from different companies & Like a lot of people on here i could not pay out a lot of money initially. I have now purchased some items from Barbara Bort Make up. I find the products to be really good quality at a reasonable price. I am loving the new lipstick with sparkles and summer eyeshadow! There is no minimum order which means you can add bits at a time. Sophie Spark at Sparkle Cosmetics is the uk distributor and if you give her a call (0161 610 2022) she is really helpful.

i have just answered another makeup question about this, artdeco is fab did my training today and LOVED the products, like i said ask to have a rep out, no hard sell at all and you will fall in love with the makeup. There is no minimum order and if you give them a budget they will work out a kit thats best for you.
