I have been doing male intimate waxing for around 2 years. I trained with Axiom and Kim Lawless and I use outback Organics gold hot wax.
I have never had a problem until one particular client.
I have waxed him around 8 times now with no problem until his 6th wax.
To put it plainly when I come to waxing his sack it is getting VERY sore and in places bleeds.
The 1st time it happened I thought maybe his skin was just very dry but it happened again last week.
I use oil under the wax and find this doesn't make any difference and also stops the wax sticking to the hair.
So basically I'm sending this guy out sore and still hairy,
I tell him to gently exfoliate and moisturise the area
Not had this problem with any of my other guys. I told him if it happens next time I will no longer be able to wax him.
What am I doing wrong?

With this been such a specialist subject I would suggest contacting your educator directly. I know Kim and Andy both have fb pages why not send them a privet message? May get there attention quicker than on here

I agree Andy would be more than happy to help

Has he definitely not started using some kind of medication or steroid cream on the area? It sounds like a break from waxing would do him good either way.

If you’ve not changed your technique and are using plenty of oil I would imagine the bleeding can only be coming from the skin that is pulled off with the base of the hair and not from the wax adhering to and lifting off the skin.

I had one client who would tear very easily so I switched to using mini spatulas (took a little while longer) but we had no further issues.

Thanks guys for your reply.
No he hasn't changed any products or medication.
I just don't get it.
I have tried messaging Andy on the Axiom FB page. It he's a busy guy I guess so no reply yet.
I'm really thinking to not even do his next wax as I hate seeing a clients skin go through that kind of trauma.
