I have just finished a 1 day manicure couse and need some practice. At the min I am still reading from the book which stage I need to be doing next etc and do not know in my head the order I should go in!

Does anyone have any tips how I will get to know this, flash cards etc. Or just practice? On my first few practices shall I still read the book?

WILL ANYONE BE GUINEA PIG FOR THIS MANICURE TREATMENT?

I use Bio Sculpture products.

Thanks,
Hayley

PS - I live in Hornchurch.

Hi

I'm afraid I can't be your model but I think it would really help you if you make up a little card with the stages of the treatment on, and then on the back of the card, write the massage routine.

Once you've done a few, it will start coming naturally :)

Good luck

Hi Hayley
I'm just coming to the end of my VTCT Manicure/Pedicure qualification. Trust me when I say, the process will follow the more practice you get. I broke the routine down into different stages.. 1st stage analysis, shaping etc., 2nd stage cuticle work, 3rd stage massage etc. Maybe this will help with you too. If I lived anywhere near you I would be a guinnea pig but think Hornchurch is a little too far for me to come :)

Hiya - a way I found helpful to remember what to do next is to have your products laid out in the right order. For my Cuccio mani it starts with a soak and cuticle remover so I would have my fizz balls (they go in the soak) first on my table. My cuticle remover would be next, then my exfoliator, anti oxidant oil, hand lotion etc etc. If they are always in this position on your table you will naturally be reaching for the right thing in the right order. HTH Linds x :)
