Matching blonde extensions

If someone has very multi tone blonde hair, how would you divide the different colours and match this so it would blend naturally?

Theres a bricklayer effect where you do a ratio of 2 blonde : 1 dark and carry that on. That looks more natural, or you can do the one row blonde, one darker.

If you get the lowlight blonde colours right, you can put them anywhere sporadically and it will look great, its all about the colour match not the application or placement.
