Hi grils i just did me nail today, what you think?

the design is really cool well done x

Thanks,for comment

Those are not the best possible set of nails, of course but "1" for length? ?
"1" for colours ? ? Come on black and white is classic! ;)

Speak of 'genuine people' being shot down.

And those are real extensions ;)

Well that would be a matter of personal opinion, wouldn't it!

Nail art is a very personal thing, not alot of people like that type of thing. Many nail professionals just like beautiful, natural looking enhancements, whether its extentions or overlays;)
The design is nice, its been done well, but it's not everybody's cup of tea.

As for the length, I personally think they are too long, and you will find many others who do also.
Excessive length can do damage to the natural nail and cause service breakdown, so serious nail technicians tend to air on the side of caution. It's what we are trained to do.
Please remember this is also a teaching site. If you are going to post in this section, I would do it constructively.

I haven't critiqued them because I don't believe the poster was actually looking for them to be seriously critiqued, she was just asking whether we liked them or not.

Then all critique is a matter of personal taste. Pull it down altogether .
I wrote that black and white is classic. It's not a matter of taste. It's an established opinion. Of course some people may dislike it but to give "1" is to only show that the taste is indeed very personal. What's the point - that girl didn't do your nails, did she?

Excessive length doesn't damage nails and it alone doesn't cause service breakdown. And those nails are about the '2nd' length only...

ps)

Fine, do it.

hi i no nowt about nails but was browsing through..

i think they are nice and for someone who likes something 'different' like me i would actually have this done.
The length is probably abit long but there are people who like it long...:)

I like nails to look pretty. To me these are not pretty. They are not badly executed and I'm sure there are those out there who would wear it but not my cup of tea at all.

Black & white may be classic but this design is neither classic nor classy. The nails look big and heavy and the white as background does not enhance the look. Black background with white stripes would in my opinion change the look of these nails completely to something much more attractive.

I think I would of just done the zebra effect on the tips, maybe they would of looked more classy then.

When i first saw these i was look WOW, with closer inspection they look a little too thick and rather long.

Design wise i agree back with white strips would of looked so much nicer. It reminded me of when at school we used to Tipex our nails:)

I usually like the "trashy look" bit these were a little to scary for me.

I cannot vote for the technical issues bcs. I am not a professional.
But I like the design very much. It is modern, fresh, and a lovely "new kind" of zebra"- I would wear them on the spot!:)
