Hiya!
I have just looked at the Crystal Clear microdermabrasion machine and was wondering if I should invest in one (around £5600) I am not sure, however, if it is too much for a small home salon. I only have a small client base at the moment. How popular do you find these treatments? Any advice would be great x

Never used one but I know that there are some separate health and safety requirements for some machines. Check this out with your local H&SE before making any decision. Others who use this machine may be able to give you more advice on this too!

good luck with this!

Hi!
I used am trained in crystal clear, having specialised as a facialist for a couple of years. The crystal clear oxygen facial is amazing, really improves aging skin, makes it glow after just 1 treatment, but the microdermabrasion is really harsh, found that it was only ever really good on people with skin like a rhino!! Is contra-indicated for sensitive, delicate skins, people on steroids, the list goes on and on....
Oh!! The products are pretty average too.
Hope this helps.

i have the crystal clear facials, and i swear by them. if you could get one then i think that weather you have a small client base, one it will bring in more clients and secondly if your current clients give it a go they will like it.

"skin like a rhino"...hmmmm ill have to remember that one when describing unevened skin texture:eek:

I haven't used the Crystal Clear machine, but I have done microdermabrasion. It gives fantastic results on all sorts of skin types. We used to use it on even sensitive skins - you just have to be more careful. It's also good combined with oxygen or microcurrent.
However, it does sound like a huge outlay for a machine, especially as you don't have a large client base. Why don't you do some research on the treatment, get info from different companies, then you can make a more informed choice.
