Hi,

At the moment I have microderabrasion once a week, it is great for my skin but not my bank balance! I pay £70 once a week, is this average? Also I live in northamptonshire and so if anyone can do it at a diff price it would be really helpful! xxx

Hi Louise

Sounds to me that you are going to the No 1 clinic I used to work for! There is such a variety of prices around, you are I would say paying top wack for this treatment where you are but remember this is a non-surgical treatment so will never be very cheap, there must be someone who is doing it for a bit less. Have you had a look on Gumtree (I did my advert on here) or Yell.com too?

Shame I am not near you , I am currently doing it for 20 pounds (sorry don't have a pound key) intro price at my home based salon in Norfolk for this month and then goes up to 30 in November but I don't have any overheads as such.

Like you I am a real fan so love doing it for people too. Good luck
Sorry could not be of more help.

OGT : )

I charge £30.00 per treatment, we are based in Market Bosworth, if I can be of any help please pm me.

I didn't know you could have this every week!

Yeah you can have it once a week. I charge £30 for a treatment and that includes three passes of the crystals over the skin. I know many salons only go over once.

Call around a few salons in your area and ask for their prices. Its a bit of a trial and error then to find a therapist you are happy with as we all work in different ways and with different machines, but the actual results are usually the same.

Hi,
Im starting to offer this treatment in a couple of weeks and plan to charge £35.00 per treatment, £70.00 seems a bit on the steep side, the sort of money you would expect to pay in a top London salon. If I were you I would hunt around for some where cheaper.

Hi Karen
That's quite spooky, i was just looking at your profile and realised you are quite local to me as i am looking for somebody to do my nails!

I was having microdermabrasion at the local college fortnightly for £15 per session...

Not only saving me some pennies, but also giving the college girls the clients they need for their assesments....

Infact I think I may have to start going again, I've not been for ages lol ...

College was a gd idea, i phoned them but they said its not part of a nvq so they don't do it. ive tried everywhere! there must be a therapist hiding somewhere?? hehe x

Hi, I charge £50.00 for Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion but sometimes have it on offer at £40-£45, I am Warwickshire & this seems to be the average price for here x

I wonder if someone could help me.
I'm setting up a beauty salon and thinking about buying some , there are so many different ones.
So my question is what is worth buying? Is there any deferens in microdermabrasion machine (crystal and diamond), is galvanic machine essential to have?
Will be very thankful for your answers.
Do you know anything abut nimue and environ skin care.
Thanks a lot.

Yeah for best results we recommend a course of 6, once a week for 6 weeks then once a month to maintain the results. After one treatment your skin does feel nice and look brighter but your real results don't happen untill you've had a few together.

Ok I understand now. I thought one a week forever would mean that either it wasn't very effective, or that you would end up doing some damage from over treatment, but a course and then maintainance treatments sounds more like it!
