Hi geeks,

Looking for some advice really!!

I'm trained in prebonded, and micro rings.

I've noticed these new mini locks/tiny tips that are popular at the moment.

I think they'd be great for some of my finer hair clients.

My questions are:

Are they the same as micros on a smaller scale thus not needing to retrain?

How do they differ from nanos?

Does anyone know where I can get them in 0.5g or 0.8g in anything less than 20inch?

Thank you xx

no they are the same as micro rings just copper tubes so you wont need to retrain but double check with your insurance company.
nano rings are a very tiny bead thats attched to a small metal rod thats attached the the extenion and ive seen nothing but mixed reviews on them so reluctant to try them, mini locks lay flatter to the head than micro rings as well

transform offer 18 and 20" in the instra links as they call them but they are 0.95g strands i belive the only other place i would buy from is angels locks but they are 20" and 0.8g strands

Nano rings are really small and are becoming popular with our clients especially those with finer hair we use transform for both nano and mini tips however mostly the 16inches so they are 0.8
Try googling the methods to gain a better understanding and order samples to help make a decision

Do a Transform do 16inch in mini tips? Could only see 18/20?

Yes it our most popular

Yes it is chick mind you we call and order on the phone

Insane to know this too lol, so if I bought normal copper tube and used stick tips is still classed as mini locks? Or is best to go with a company that specialise these? Also do they last better then micro rings and what hair type are these suitable for?

Bonita hair extensions do stick tips with copper tubes x

We purchase stick tip and mini tip as they are different personally I find 16 inched mini tipped and nano are the most popular in the salon as many of our clients used easilocks so mini tips are the equivalent to them

You should go with a company that specialize in them as stick tip and copper tubes are way to big to be classed as mini tipped extensions

Ok thanks I've just made an order in transform colour ring will use them for the instra links and got a model to try it out for me lol & I'm gonna have it done myself too ;-)
