Hello guys,
I have a client booked in and she wants her toes Minxing. I have bought all the gubbins that you need to apply Minx, but as yet have not got around to doing any. This may be a silly question, but if you have a Minx on the sheet (toes or fingers) and it is a bit too big for the nail, what do you trim it with? Is it a case of just trimming with scissors? Sorry if it's a silly question.:o

I use curved scissors and keep the Minx on the sheet to trim.

I'm still quite new to Minx too, lol.

Don't pull or stretch. Make sure the nails are warmed under the lamp and the Minx is nice and warmed up. Take your time smoothing out to avoid wrinkles.

So are you going to use your first minx client as a guinea pig?

I am still new to Minx too but I lay the warm Minx onto the warmed nail and smooth it down. You can then see the groove around the nail. I use very fine curved scissors and cut around the Minx following the groove. The long end I just cut off and fold the over hanging bit under and file. That way I can re-use the cut offs. Little pearl of wisdom I got of geeg. This way I get 2 -2.5 applications per sheet.

If I'm only using half the strip I cut it in half still on the sheet and keep it for another appointment. That way I haven't touched the adhesive.
