OK, here goes, my first question and I am very nervous but know you will all be gentle with me.

Just started Minxing and love them and realise I still need lots more practice but wanted to check something. A lot of my clients are the more mature ladies and have oval/almond shape nails. All demos show application to square nails and just wondered if anybody had any advice to applying to this shape as have found it very hard to avoid getting creases/folds to free edge. I relaise this should improve with practise but would appreciate your comments.

There I have done it now..... Also, just want to say what a fab site this is, thanks.

I find this shape difficult to do also, I seem to have lots of creases. Sorry I'm no help really am I ! xx

Not really sweet, but thanks for your reply and at least you were honest :smack:

Try working from side to side once you have the minx in the right place, instead of from top to bottom iykwim.
I'm not saying this is the answer, but I does seem to go on these shapes a bit better. Practise application on a shaped tip & see how you get on.
HTH's a bit xx

I will try that Bev, thanks xx

Thanks very much Bev, I will be trying that today, especially as I have just had a 'No Show' God that's annoying!:irked:

Have you watched the application class video on the Sweet Squared Website??

www.sweetsquared.com then click on products and then Minx. This is a great help and a FREE class for you. :green:

These look good. I think we could use these in our salon.

I have questions if that's OK

How long do these last? (approx of course)
Can they go over gels?
Do you have to put a topcoat over them or what?
How do you get them off?
Do you have to buy the lamp that warms them up?
Where can I find prices?

I can't see the video and my pc won't install the plugin :(

Thanks
Gina
