Minx Party

Do any of you offer a minx party, like with Spray tan ? I have just had a lady ask so I have booked her a four friends in for next friday. They are going to tell me the colour they would like and I will take it from there.

Do any of you offer this and do you do anything extra ?

Never done it myself, but I admire your initiative and wish you the best of luck at your Minx 'do'; it should be allot of fun. Maybe a little wine and nibbles and just a nice friendly get together if they are all friends. I would keep it simple if you are charging normal rates .... don't take too much off he bottom line.

I was asked to do a hens party and they said that they only wanted a basic manicure and pedicure.

I brought a price list with basic manicure & basic pedicure, basic with french paint & a Spa Delux M & P, which I did the basic and then used an exfoliator and a deeper massage into the calf as well as foot / lower arm as well as hand & heated mitts and booties.

Needless to say nearly every1 wanted the SPA.

Very sucessful night, the spray tan is a good option as well and give them a full price list of what you offer.

THis is the kind of thing i do,"teasing" the potential client is the key to enticing them in,and then you have them trapped:lol:

I also do some wine and nibbles,do a demo of a potential treatment,i usually do a gel nail on people,and they then book in,throw in a raffle prize of some little goodies.MY friend does the holistic treats while i concentrate on nails,we make a good combo

I've heard of Minx parties...I've seen it advertised on individual websites and I think it has been mentioned here.

I think it is a great idea...you can showcase different Minx styles ( should they all choose differently ) so that hopefully you will get return bookings from them wanting to try the one their friend had for instance.

As for extra's...like has been mentioned I think manicures and pedicures would go great with the Minx.

Simple drinks and nibbles...and voila a nice little earner...Best of luck xxxx

i have got a party booked for next tue for 4 clients, maybe more and some want toes and hands and some just hands!
in return i have offered my regular client nails and toes at cost price, 'not charging her for my time', i know maybe i am not gaining money but i have gained quiet a lot of clients from her' and at that price she will be more than happy to carry on helping me, with minx on her nails a lot of people will ask her where she has got them done etc..:green:! x
