Hi, I was just casually chatting on the phone to a nail tech associate the other day who has a salon for sale ,

She asked " did I need any acrylic powder as she has some left over stock for sale ?"
so I asked "what Type is it ?" and she said "why?"
I said " because I will need the the liquid to match? "

she then said quite snappily
"that in all her years as a Nail Tech she has never used matching liquid and powder she just grabs whatever is closest to hand "

I was speechless and I think she was a tad offended because she never even told me what the powder make was !

I just said oh ok well thank you anyway.

Is this just me being really fussy ?

.

Well she may just be "lucky" to not have had someone with a severe reaction.

If someone had a reaction then her insurance would not cover her because she would not be working in line with manufacturers guidelines.

It is always best to work within these guidelines.

She is playing chemist by mixing. The products are created to work together - who knows what chemical reaction you could get by mixing one brand with another.
