Hi all

I hope to start my mobile business soon and was hoping to get some advice from some other mobile therapists.

What is the maximum number of clients you have done in an evening? I know it depends on what treatment(s) you're doing and how far apart the clients live etc, but I was curious to know your experiences!

I have been doing treatments for friends etc and am starting to get more organised in how I store, transport, set up and pack away my equipment - but even so, it all takes valuable time! It's also hard to gauge how it will be with "real" clients, as when you do friends you inevitably end up taking longer with everything! We do chat and they would think it rude if I was in-and-out like lightning. However I realise that being speedy will be important when mobile.

Any comments / tips very welcome!

Hi you will get a feel gradually as business builds how long it all takes but i always over estimate timings and travel time just to make sure, but to start with you will only have one then as you get busier two, and you'll start being able to guage time. I always say it will be approx 7pm so that they know I could bena little either side of that. I generally don't have more than three clients in an eve, say starting at 6, if they have one or two things done, you will be one of two hrs then travel in between. The best is when you have a quick one at 6ish then the next about 7.15 and they want three treatment so your there till ten, then home. It's a nice way to work, I really enjoy it. Hope I make sense!! Xx

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm glad you mentioned working til 10pm! I'm cool with working that late, but was wondering if clients would view it as too late - but obviously not! x

It really does depend on what the treatment is , you are right. I try to keep them all close together. So I usually say 'well I am in your area on this day how is 2pm?' or what ever. So this way I fit more in.
It does wind me up sometimes when I think of how many clients I could fit in if I cut out all of my travelling time.
xxx
